The last 12 months have been testing for the construction industry, but we have all stepped up and remained open over a number of COVID lockdowns. 

Quick, regular testing, using  Public Health England & UK Government assessed tests, reduces the risk of transmission of COVID through the workforce, making building sites safer and more productive without long absences while waiting for testing. UK Government has issued guidance for employers about workplace testing in an article entitled Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing: guidance for employers and third-party healthcare providers.

Proper lighting is vital to construction areas — it can be a matter of life and death. Many construction sites operate at night due to traffic, building use requirements and other concerns. Workers need sufficient, reliable lighting to make sure they perform their tasks properly. 

Apart from construction safety materials and equipment, the visibility provided by proper lighting also helps protect workers and prevent accidents. Lighting allows people to notice hazards and risks and discriminate between colours, which is particularly important with safety warnings.
